Council manager people and development Karen Liversidge said school crossing supervisor positions provided meaningful employment while allowing people to balance other commitments.
“Many people don’t realise how flexible and rewarding this role can be,” Ms Liversidge said.
“School crossing supervisors help create safer journeys for local children and families every day, while enjoying short shifts before and after school that may fit around family, study and other responsibilities,” she said.
“We are seeking applications from people who are reliable, enjoy interacting with the community and are committed to helping keep children safe.”
