Corowa and the surrounding district welcomed an influx of around 330 visitors last month who attended the 2025 Inner Wheel Australia Conference, held at Club Corowa.

The event was attended by Inner Wheel Australia president Clare Swaan, International Inner Wheel president Kay Morland, and members from across Australia.
Guests also included six representatives from New Zealand and one from India.
Usha Menon travelled all the way from India.
The opening ceremony and gala dinner took place on Friday, followed by the business session on Saturday.
The highlight for many was the friendship dinner with its lively 1970s disco theme.
The Federation Room at Club Corowa was filled to capacity as guests dressed up in their best retro outfits and danced the night away to music from Bendigo band, Standard Procedure.

Local accommodation venues and caravan parks were kept busy throughout the week, with many visitors also supporting local businesses during their stay.
The Corowa District Inner Wheel Club ran the major conference raffle, raising more than $2,000 to support the upgrade of the Palliative Care Room at Corowa Hospital.

Organisers extended their heartfelt thanks to all local businesses for their generous donations and to the many Inner Wheel members who supported this worthy cause.
Inner Wheel Australia and the Conference Committee also expressed sincere appreciation to their sponsors, whose contributions helped make the event such a great success.
