This year, Federation Council is promoting and showcasing services for Local Government Week online. Council will be highlighting many services that are available to all members of the community and of course capturing some of the many great projects delivered throughout the 2019/2020 financial year.
Federation Council Mayor Pat Bourke said Local Government Week is always a highlight in the Council calendar.
“This week provides council with a great opportunity to highlight some of the many things we do and the close relationship we have with our communities,” he said.
“While many people are aware that we manage rates, roads and rubbish, the breadth and diversity of our work across many other areas is something we are excited to highlight. On behalf of Councillors and staff I invite our residents to follow the online celebration of Local Government Week and celebrate the diversity of your Council with us.”

Grant Finder website for all businesses and community groups throughout Federation Council
Free online Food Training
Launching the 2020 commUNITY Piano Project with EOI for the donation of a piano
Federation Council Mobile preschool with updates from the preschool children
Free guidance and appointments with Council staff for Development and Building
Department updates from Corporate and Community Services, Development & Environment, Engineering Services & Communication & Engagement
