The Jerilderie BNS Ball attracts up to 1200 attendees to the racecourse each year, effectively doubling our town's population for the weekend.
If you hear a little extra noise on Friday and Saturday nights, it's all part of the festivities. If you have pets that may be unsettled by the music or noise, it's a good idea to keep them safely indoors.
The economic benefit this event brings to our community is significant, both to local businesses, sporting clubs and community groups.
A huge congratulations to the Jerilderie Apex Club and the many assisting volunteer groups who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make the event happen each year. Their dedication has helped the Jerilderie Apex BNS Ball become one of the Riverina's longest-running BNS events, proudly celebrating more than 60 years.

Renovations to the kitchen at the Jerilderie Sports Club are now a week under way as the club works to upgrade its facilities.
During the renovation period, the club's Chinese restaurant will be temporarily closed, with plans to reopen on August 1 once the works are complete.
Meanwhile, the community can still enjoy a meal at the club this Friday evening, with a pizza van operating from 4pm to 8pm, or until sold out. Pizzas will be available for both dine-in and takeaway.
The Jerilderie Sports Club thanks members and patrons for their patience during the renovations and looks forward to welcoming everyone back to the newly upgraded kitchen and the reopening of the Chinese restaurant at the start of August.

Jerilderie branch of United Hospital Auxiliaries NSW will be holding a meeting on Thursday, July 23, 2pm in the small meeting room Jerilderie Health Service. New members are most welcome.

The Jerilderie Cricket Club is seeking expressions of interest from children wishing to play under-11s cricket next season, as well as children aged 5-10 years interested in taking part in the Cricket Blast program during Term 4.
The club is also looking for enthusiastic coaches to help deliver the junior program.
Families are encouraged to keep an eye on the club's Facebook page over the coming weeks, where an Expressions of Interest survey will be available.
