Families, friends, community members and honoured guests packed the hall during the annual spectacular hosted by the Lowesdale P&C.
After a warm welcome by principal, Charna Wood, and school leaders Bethany Sloman and Charlotte Peterson, the lights were dimmed and the crowd were treated to a humorous take on the classic story ‘The Wizard of Oz’ as directed by teacher, Courtney Kuschert.
Mrs Kuschert was presented with a bouquet of flowers and her teaching certificate after completion of her teaching degree.
All 11 students from Kindergarten through Year 6 performed in the play, showcasing their acting skills and comical timing.
The crowd erupted in cheers and laughter, as the children in beautiful costumes delivered their lines. The backdrop was a magical lit set, hand-painted by the tireless and creative Lowesdale P&C, led by Kerrie Kuschert.
