More lifts open at Mt Buller this weekend

Tobogganists will have double the fun from Saturday, with both the Village and Celia’s toboggan parks scheduled for family fun.

“Skyline is covered, groomed and the T-bar is ready to roll from Friday morning,” Buller Ski Lifts general manager Noel Landry said.

“It’s truly a team effort of snowmaking, grooming and of course Mother Nature doing her part, to get more terrain open for guests as soon as possible. I know skiers and boarders will be stoked to get on to more of the mountain this weekend.

“Family Run is a great one to have into the mix for Saturday and it’s a credit to our mountain operations team to have these extra kilometres of trail for our guests this early.”

The Bureau of Meteorology is forecasting a sunny day on Saturday and snow showers on Sunday at Mt Buller, with overnight temperatures dropping to below zero.
