Corowa Golf Club hosted a spectacular Ladies Oaks Day last week, drawing in 125 guests for an afternoon of glamour, excitement, and a dash of friendly competition.

The event, which took place against the picturesque backdrop of the Corowa Golf Club, featured a range of activities and attractions that kept attendees entertained throughout the day including a two-course lunch.
From the stylish Fashions on the Field to the anticipation of sweeps and raffles, Ladies Oaks Day was a celebration of both sophistication and camaraderie.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the Fashions on the Field competition, where attendees showcased their finest ensembles in the hopes of claiming the coveted title. The event was a display of elegance, with attendees putting their best fashion foot forward.
Lady of the Day was awarded to Helen Ralston-Star, runner up being Lorry Rolton and the millenary award going to Pam Arnold.
Adding an element of excitement to the festivities were lucky door prizes, sweeps, and raffles that kept the energy high. Guests eagerly participated in these activities, creating an air of friendly competition as they vied for the chance to win fantastic prizes generously provided by local businesses.
Gavin King, the master of ceremonies for the day, kept the event flowing smoothly, adding his own brand of wit and charm to the proceedings, ensuring that attendees were entertained from start to finish.
Co-organiser Jutta Wheatley expressed her satisfaction with the day, describing it as a resounding success.
