Police investigate Moama vandalism attack

The windscreen of a car was smashed at the Moama home.

A grandmother and her son have been left shaken after vandals attacked their home and car in Moama on Sunday night.

Police are investigating the attack believed to have occurred at 10.30pm, when vandals smashed the windscreen of a vehicle parked at the Shetland Dve address and front window of the house.

The front window of the home was also smashed.

A baseball bat was left at the scene, along with footprints that may help investigators.

The grandson who posted the incident on a Facebook community page said the incident was “incredibly distressing and scary for our family, especially for my Nana”.

Police have been notified and inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the damage are ongoing.

Investigators are urging anyone who was in the Shetland Dve area around the time of the incident, or who may have CCTV, home security camera or dashcam footage, to come forward.
