REDHS residents ride in style

The streets of Rochester came alive with the sound of vintage engines on Thursday, April 23, as Rochester and Elmore District Health Service and Rochester Motoring Club brought back the beloved tradition of vintage car rides for aged care residents.

The parade of vintage cars, including Pontiac and Morris models, was well received by the crowd.

Residents and even a four-legged friend enjoyed cruising through town in the cars, while others gathered to wave them off on their journey.

The event sparked conversation among residents as Marg Windridge went hunting for the fastest car, while Carmel Murphy was certain it was the red one.
