Cor/Ruth 55 defeat Wodonga Raiders 30
We always knew that Raiders would be a physical game, so the girls were well prepared. After the first half the Roo girls pulled away with a comfortable win.
Awards: Sullivans Hair&Beauty Award & D’Amicos Restaurant Award- Emily Laracy- A great game in the ring. Laza’s amazing footwork and reach proved too good for her opposition.
Club 1- Ella Kingston – rode her players hip all day making it hard for Raiders to easily transition the ball into their attack end.
Club 2- Liv Sinclair- Has had a strong season so far and today was no different. Liv is creative and can make a play from any lead!
Ladies Committee- Jess Bice – shooting so well this season Jess is leading her team from the attack with poise and confidence.
B Grade
Cor/Ruth 52 defeat Wodonga Raiders 29
A competitive game in the first half, the girls found their groove and powered forward in the second half to finish strong winners. A full team effort making the award decisions difficult which is a great problem to have.
Awards: Sullivans Hair&Beauty Award & Essential Beauty award – Lily Sharp – Performing at a high standard every week Lily keeps every attack end on their toes wondering when she might pluck her next intercept.
Club 1 – Zoe McLeish – Home again – Zoe is a standout in goals with a strong hold and high shooting percentage.
D’Amicos Restaurant award – Lisa Tobin – Improving every week, Lisa is becoming quite a strong hold on the court. She is such a team player and offers plenty in the attack end.
Ladies Committee – Kiara Corkett – Pushed hard all day on a taller competitor and ensure she kept the ball safe.
C Grade
Cor/Ruth 40 defeated by Wodonga Raiders 45
We were jumped at the start by the Raiders but after the first quarter the girls played well, digging deep and reducing the deficit to 1 goal in the last quarter. Unfortunately going down by 5 in the end. Lily Hanrahan played an amazing game in goals.

Cor/Ruth 63 defeated by Wodonga Raiders 25
Gutsy effort by the girls. Raiders were a well-oiled team, but our girls stayed strong and kept their heads up until the end. Our attackers are improving every week and are building such a beautiful connection. Defensively we worked hard and adjusted to every quarter. So proud of this effort.

Club 1 – Sophie Kennedy – Soph played beautifully. Played confidently and adjusted to all instruction. Best game of the year.
Club 2 – Shelby Richardson – A really solid game. Kept working hard and changing up the footwork. Really proud of you Shelbs.
Graze Award – Grace Kennedy – The team’s General. Worked hard until the end and brought so much positive energy.
Ladies Committee – Macka Van Malsem – Great game Macka! Applied the pressure to keep your opponent off the ring and played wonderfully in GD.
