Street safety decision

Ms Symes was again in town last weekend for the Roam Rutherglen Winery Walkabout in which she produced 800 millilitres of juice to comfortably win the celebrity grape tread conducted by local identity Ken Jasper.

She was applauded by the big crowd following her victory (story Page 3). But locals and visitors would love to hear some news about improving safety for everyone in Main Street. “Nothing yet,” was her answer for The Free Press.

The petition seeking safety action was sent last week.
