Participants wearing iconic yellow t-shirts will walk to raise vital funds for the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre Trust Fund, ensuring all donations stay within the region to assist local families.
While the main event takes place simultaneously in Albury, the Corowa and District team will host their non-competitive, family-friendly walks at Corowa Rowers Park.
The marked routes wind along the scenic river paths between Wahgunyah and Corowa, featuring three staggered start times:
•20 km walk: Starts at 6:00 am
•10 km walk: Starts at 8:00 am
•5 km walk: Starts at 9:00 am
Following a strong 2025 event where 60 local participants raised more than $13,000, the committee aims to top the Teams leaderboard again this year.
To boost fundraising, Team Corowa is hosting a lead-up raffle featuring prizes donated by the Trust Fund.
Tickets will be available over the Melbourne Cup weekend outside the Rutherglen Newsagency and Gyles Newsagency in Corowa.
