Kicking with a strong breeze in the opening term, Katy made all the running kicking five goals to one in the quarter.
They continued to lead their opponents to the ball in the second quarter to put the game to bed by half-time.
After some honest assessment of the performance the Demons manned up in the second half to at least make a contest and hopefully build into a better performance against Rennie this weekend.
Katamatite were restricted to three goals after the long break.

Reserves:
The reserves were consistent all day, with a lot of back and forth.
Katy were first to hit the scoreboard with a few points but the Demons hit back with the next two goals.
Half-time saw the game even and Jerilderie made the most of the breeze in the third quarter to hold a six point lead at the final break.
Katy proved too strong, kicking three unanswered goals in the last quarter to take the points.

Jae Moore-Lambert played a great game across half back to win Jerilderie Vet Clinic Best Player award, while Charlie Simpson won the Colony Inn award for his work in the ruck.
Kev Moran continues to improve after only taking up the game last season and received the Lawton Ag Spraying award, and Ethan Lynam again put in another great four quarters to receive the Yanco Delta Wind Farm voucher.
Thirds:
The under-17s again impressed. They’re playing great attacking football under super coach Trevor Eldridge.
Chase Montgomery and Ashton Scholz continued to find plenty of the ball with Logan Eldridge and Ash Hines providing solid support.
James Winn followed up from his best on ground in the under-14s to play another solid game.
After not fielding a team last year it has been great to see the boys enjoying some football and having another win is a bonus. Hopefully a few more wins.

Fourths:
The Jerilderie mosquito squad fourths had an impressive win in round two against the Tigers.
It was great to see good signs with the team starting to gel together.
Young run and gun James Winn kicked five goals off half-back in his first game of the season, and Charlie Rorato backed up his round one performance with leather poisoning.
All the young and new members to the team contributed to the victory.
