A 34 year-old woman is to appear in court on a number of traffic offences after reportedly leading police on a car chase on Monday evening.
Police attempted to pull over a car in Henry St, Deniliquin about 6.12pm, and alleged the female driver did not stop.
A pursuit was initiated, which ended when the car stopped in Davies Crt.
The woman was arrested and taken to the Deniliquin Police Station, where she was charged with police pursuit (not stop and drive recklessly) and drive motor vehicle while disqualified.
The woman was also charged following investigations into an earlier driving matter, from June 17.
She was additionally charged another count of drive while disqualified, as well as state false name.
She has been ordered to appear in Deniliquin Local Court on July 16.
Shoplifting charge
A 25 year-old man has been charged with shoplifting after investigating a reported theft from a George St, Deniliquin retail store on Sunday.
Police spoke with the man on Monday, and he was subsequently charged.
