A retail range including heating and cooling systems, means you can source more than sparkies for all kinds of electrical needs at The Thomson Group.
Soon to celebrate its 60th birthday, the family-owned Echuca company comprises Thomson’s Echuca Electrical and Thomsons’s Heating and Cooling.
The business specialises in all types of electrical, heating and cooling works, ranging from large-scale projects to simple home maintenance and repairs.
The business also provides a 24/7 on-call service for electrical problems that require urgent attention.
“We offer a total solution for all domestic and commercial needs in electrical,” second-generation business owner Brett Thomson said.
His parents Keith and Dorothy Thomson started the business in November 1962, meaning 60th birthday planning will start soon.
“At first, Dad was the only electrician and ran the business from home; our current showroom opened two years later,” Brett, a qualified electrician, said.
His brother Glenn also joined the trade and is among The Thomson Group’s team of qualified electricians and apprentice electricians.
So where should homemakers and business owners start when planning for their electrical, heating and cooling needs?
“There’s a lot to see in our showroom, and we advise on the benefits of each system for different situations,” Brett said.
Winter comfort is covered with contemporary gas log-fires, heat transfer systems, classic-style wood heaters and split-systems.
Meanwhile, summer needs are catered for with evaporative airconditioners, refrigerated, ducted and split-systems.
Leading brands supplied, installed and serviced by Thomsons include Fuijitsu, Breezair, Sculpt, Lopi, and Coonara.
The Thomson Group also specialises in ducted vacuum systems and sells catering equipment.
