A Kyabram teen has been arrested over an alleged assault and burglaries in Echuca earlier this month.

Detective Senior Constable Alisha Bortolotto of Campaspe Crime Investigation Unit said a group of youths surrounded a young man and woman outside McDonald's in Echuca about 8pm on October 13 before both victims were assaulted.
As the pair attempted to leave the area in a small white car, its side window was damaged.
A 15-year-old Kyabram boy has been charged with violent disorder, as well as handling stolen goods linked to two burglaries in Eyre St, Echuca, on October 3 and 12. He will appear at a Children’s Court at a later date.
Det Sen Const Bortolotto said investigations were continuing into the assault and police were appealing for witnesses to come forward.
