Numurkah police are asking members of the public for any information about the recent theft of a tractor.
The 6455 Massey Ferguson was stolen from a property on Betts Rd in Waaia sometime between Sunday, May 18 and Tuesday, May 20.
The tractor is red and has a front-end loader and a John Deere GPS system.
Police are asking community members to look out for the stolen machinery.
Numurkah police Senior Constable Anne Connor said tractor thefts were not particularly common.
However, she said it was important for people to make sure they were protecting their properties and equipment.
“Lock it,” Sen Constable Connor said.
She said the stolen tractor had the keys left in it at the time of the theft.
“Unfortunately, the times of being able to leave things unlocked is gone,” she said.
Anyone with information that may assist the investigation can contact Numurkah police on 5862 3311, or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
