Tamika Upton scored five tries while winger Julia Robinson and centre Jess Sergis crossed for hat-tricks as Australia ran in 17 tries to one against a hapless England in March last year.
Australia are red hot favourites to snare a fourth World Cup title, and their tournament started brilliantly with a 40-0 demolition of Fetu Samoa in Sydney last Friday.
But any thoughts of a repeat of their 17-try Las Vegas blitz have been downplayed by Australia, who are expecting a much tougher England outfit this time around after watching their rivals thump Wales 70-6 in Perth last week.
"I definitely don't think there'll be a similar result (as in Las Vegas)," Jillaroos hooker Keeley Nizza said in Perth on Monday.
"I think England are a very different team to last year, and we know they'll come out with a different intensity.
"We always know against England it's a tough match."
Following his team's impressive win over Wales, England coach Stuart Barrow spoke about the challenge of taking on Australia, saying his team had well and truly moved on from the Las Vegas humiliation.
"It's buried, it's in the past," Barrow said.
"It's so long ago and this is a different group, a new group and we're ready to go with our challenge now, this group's challenge."
Australia have been rated a prohibitive $1.04 in some betting markets to snare their fourth straight World Cup.
And as for their match against England? Some bookmakers aren't even taking bets on the Jillaroos winning, such is their belief an Australian triumph is a fait accompli.
That sort of expectation equates to huge pressure on Australia's players, but Nizza says they are happy to take it in their stride.
"I feel like any time you put this jersey on, whether you're playing or training, there's an expectation that comes with it internally," she said.
"So the expectation is there anyway. But yeah, there's definitely been a bit more with the outside looking in.
"But I feel like everybody in this position has high expectations of themselves."
