Elmore’s biggest community event, the 63rd annual Elmore Field Days, take place between Tuesday, October 6 and Thursday, October 8.
About 20mm of rain fell on Friday, but due to the dry month, the ground absorbed most of the run-off.
Organisers were relying on a clear weather forecast for the three days.
All available sites have been booked out for the event, which engages hundreds of district volunteers.
Clubs and organisations which provide assistance for the field days benefit from donations from funds raised.
The field days site will be hosting Elmore Jet Boats on October 31.
