Apart from a couple of stretches during both the second and fourth quarters, the depleted Power side was just about on equal terms with a strong Osborne side.
Recent 100 gamers Jordan Wilson and Mick Collins along with debutant Jayden Collier and Tom Webb held the backline together while Cal Butler, Andrew Phibbs and Jesse O’Donoghue were goo all over the ground.

Our Fijian boys, Will Dyer and Jekesoni Koroi made their senior debuts on Saturday.
It was great to see them debut together and both were good contributors.
A Grade

The girls really lifted and the scores were even for every quarter.
Chloe and Rachel have improved and were hitting their shots from everywhere.
Another strong performance by Erica and Emily in defence and the mid court really lifted.
This week saw Alyce have her first game in A Grade and she did a great job in WD.
Unfortunately the team could not hold Osborne in the last quarter and they ran away with the win.

Another slow start from the girls allowed them a four goal start.
Once the team clicked into gear they managed to draw even by quarter time and then edge out to be one up at the half time break.
Sisi and Shay were really combining well and get better every week.
Defence and mid court played their part and really lifted the intensity all over the court.
Great team effort to win.

Saturday was a hard game for the girls.
The team worked tirelessly to win the ball but Osborne was just too strong.
Both ends of the court were supported strongly by the mid court.
Although the score board says differently, the Power worked hard all game.
