Australia Open Bowls Championships
Corowa RSL Bowls Club has been represented this year by Shawn McMahon.
Shawn has entered the Singles, Pairs and Mens Fours.
Anne Summerill from RSL Bowls, who is a qualified International Umpire, is umpiring at the Australian Open.

Social Bowls Wednesday
There were sixteen players on Wednesday, and this week's winners were Razz and Sandy Stewart +7. This is a couple of winning weeks for Razz and first-year player Sandy. Congratulations.
Runners Up with +2, were Roly Nixon, Brian Houlihan and Ketch.
Open Saturday Jackpot Pairs
The Jackpot was won again on Saturday.
The Jackpot of $54 was shared by two teams of five players.
Two teams were holding -9 so prize monies split.
Shared winners were Ketch, Gary Brown, Jeff Nixon, Jenny Lawrence and Chris Reilly.
Members need to begin thinking about the upcoming Ovens and Murray District Pennant.

Midweek and Weekend Pennant
The Sunday afternoon social game saw two teams tie up on 18 and 18 (36), but winning on countback were the team of Doreen Pleming, Keith Evans, Joe Carnivale, and Joe Wilson. With the runners-up being Gloria McCluskey, Ken Pleming, and Helen Bartel.
Tuesday’s winners on 15 and 16 (31) were Betty Clancy, Jan Webber, Peter Manning, and Joan Adams. With the runners-up on 5 and 18 (23) being Gloria McCluskey, Georgie Agnew, and Joe Carnivale.
And on Thursday afternoon the winners on 15 and 17 (32) were Angela Clapton, Jan Webber and Joe Wilson. And the runners-up on 17 and 3 (20) were Chris Hendry, Margaret Watson and Helen Bartel.
