Gates open at 11am, with a six-race program scheduled to begin at 1.30pm and the final race to start at about 5.10pm.
Visitors can expect all the excitement of a top-quality country race meeting, complemented by a warm community atmosphere and first-class hospitality.
Race Club secretary Janine Murphy said the Berrigan Gold Cup continues to grow each year.
“It’s a wonderful day that brings together locals and visitors for a true country racing experience.
“The atmosphere, the racing, and the fashion all make it one of the most enjoyable events on the regional calendar.”
Patrons can look forward to a relaxed, festive day with local and metro bookmakers, a TAB van, and a big screen showing metro races.
The Reserved Public Marquee will once again offer a comfortable and social way to enjoy the day, with shade, seating, and pre-allocated tables labelled for each booking.
One of the day’s most popular attractions, Fashions on the Field, will take place between Races 3 and 4 around 3pm.
This year’s competition boasts a total prize pool of about $5000, drawing fashion enthusiasts from across the Riverina and beyond.
Categories will include Lady of the Day, Best Hat, Young Miss Racegoer 13-18, Young Master Racegoer 13-18, Best Dressed Gent and Best Dressed Couple.
Lady of the Day in 2024 was Elizabeth Patterson.
“The fashions event brings so much life and colour to the course,” Murphy said.
“We’re thrilled to see how creative and stylish people get each year - it really adds something special to the day.”
There’ll be something for every taste with BB’s Catering offering dine-in and takeaway meals plus a barbecue cook-up, Border Woodfired Pizzas serving their famous gourmet pizzas, and a coffee van for caffeine lovers.
Among the marquees, The Rusty Bartender, featuring Ben Goodwin from Belfast, will serve a full range of handcrafted cocktails — including the exclusive Berrigan Gold Cup Cocktail.
