The day kicked off at John Foord Oval with lunch and celebratory drinks and premiership players excited to be together after many years.
A large crowd was also present for the momentous day to celebrate the Roos triumphant win over the Hoppers 22 years ago.
Past players were present for the unveiling of the new "Juice Bar" in honour of former champion Roos champion John Kingston and a new section of the Grandstand was dedicated to “Coach of the Century”, Peter Tossol.
The crowd then welcomed Jack Schilg onto the ground for his 100th senior game playing for the Roos. The quiet achiever Schilg had a great match and was subsequently named one of the best on ground.

Following the great win over the North Albury Hoppers the club rooms were a hive of activity as players and members past and present caught up with old friends and shared stories from the past.
The much-anticipated launch of Ben Black’s incredible documentary “The Road to Success” was then played to the 200-strong Roos crowd. The documentary was complete with interviews, game footage and other historical information, which received a rousing applause afterwards.

Corowa Rutherglen Football Netball Club president Stuart Lingham told the Free Press that the documentary was very well received.
“Ben did a remarkable job with putting the interviews and information together,” he said.
“It was a three-year project, originally something he had made for a school assessment, but it developed into something bigger.
“People were very impressed and appreciative of his work. It ran for about half an hour and received positive feedback.
“The entire day was just fantastic from the club’s perspective. There was a truck load of work from the volunteers and members to put together the day, and the success is really reflective of our great club.
“To have a win from six out of seven of our teams was really special too. Celebrations kicked on late into the evening and everyone had a really great time.”
