They have capped participant numbers in order to adhere to the NSW Health guidelines but still had a great day.
The first event was a 10-target point score eye opener with shooters Paul Aubrey, Jacqui Wemyss, Darren Saunders, James Willett, Phillip Theil and Rick Palmer gaining a perfect score of 30/30.
Event two, 30 target point score Championship Overall and AA grade winner James Willett 123/123 after a close shoot off with John Wojcik 122/123, of Wangaratta who picked up second in AA grade.
A grade 1st Rick Palmer 85/90, 2nd Kyle McVittie 87/93, B grade 1st Joanne Ford 85/90, 2nd Ron Gulliver 78/90, C grade 1st Olivia Ford 76/90, 2nd Paul Aubrey 82/99.
Event 3, 30 target double barrel Championship and Presidents shield event was won by James Willet 120/120 who also took 1st in AA grade, closely followed after a substantial shoot off by Royce Wojtowyez 119/120 who took 2nd in AA grade. A grade 1st Rodney Wilson 39/40, 2nd Bryan Green 33/34, B grade 1st Jacqui Wemyss 30/32, 2nd Joanne Ford 29/32, C Grade 1st Paul Aubrey 27/30, 2nd Hunter Aubrey 30/35.
Event 4, 25 target handicap Championship 1st Phillip Theil 39/40, 2nd Hunter Aubrey 38/40, 3rd Allen Cole 26/27.
We also ran the Federation Shield Team event in conjunction with the Handicap. The winning team was a Corowa team comprising of Joanne, Cameron and Olivia Ford with Paul and Hunter Aubrey.
The High Gun winners for the day were James Willet – overall 173/175, John Wojcik – Veteran 161/175, Joanne Ford – Ladies 153/175 and Cameron Ford – Juniors 147/175.
