There were mixed results with Pennant this past week. In the mid-week pennant, the club had three sides win; however, in the weekend pennant, they had three sides lose.

Mid-week Pennant Results – January 23.
The A2 side played Wangaratta at home and won convincingly with a 40-shot margin; with three matches remaining, they are guaranteed a top two finish on the ladder.
Adam Larkins, Rod Garthwaite, Raz Porter and Andy Dickins won 21-17.
Maree Jones, Keith Mills, Ray McLarty and Brenton Ketchell won 33-12.
Judy Black, Daryl Brown, Wayne Lee and Ken Widdison came from a 0-11 deficit to win 27-12.
The B1 side played Tungamah at home and also had a good win, up by 26 shots. They are also in 1st spot on the ladder and are assured of a top 4 finish.
Dom Carroll, John Danaher, Bev Pilfoot and Peter Summerill won 31-9.
Rosemary Baddeley, Tony Coughlin, Gary Brown and Anne Summerill lost 19-25.
Ken Mollinson, Susie Swift, Bryan Gee and Les Pilfoot won 22-12.
The B2 side travelled to Corowa Civic and won by 42 shots, putting them in 5th spot on the ladder. There is only 7 points separating 3rd, 4th and 5th spots and the side has a hard run home, playing the top three teams.
Greg Keyte, Tony Fierenzi, Lex Thornton and Alan Holmquest won 34-10.
Lynne Ewison, Roly Nixon, Brian Houlihan and John Creighton won 28-14.
Gary Turner, Sam Nixon, Dave Lewis and Laurie Way won 21-17.
The B3 side had the long road trip to Corryong and lost narrowly, by 9 shots. They are in 7th place on the ladder.
Janet Mills, Jenny Lawrence, Rhonda Clark and Ross Ewison won 24-17.
Dux MacQueen, Marilyn Langton, Wally Langton and Peter Mills lost 18-22.
Kellie-Anne Briggs, Roseann Prentice, Gordon Nightingale and Joan Wood lost 13-25.
Weekend Pennant Results- January 27
The A1 side played Wangaratta at home and had a narrow 6 shot win; they maintain 4th spot on the ladder, 35 points clear of 5th position. This should guarantee a top-four finish.
Rod Garthwaite, Ray McLarty, Andy Dickins and Jordan Thornton lost 18-19.
Adam Larkins, Kaz Hughes, Danny Webb and Scott Widdison lost 22-29.
Judy Black, Allen Bartlett, Ken Widdison and Shawn McMahon won 26-14.
Maree Jones, Wayne Lee, Troy Brockley and Stu McNeill won 18-16.
The A4 side travelled to Rutherglen and had trouble handling the fast green, losing by 27 shots; this puts them back into 5th spot, just 1 point out of the four. With only 2 matches remaining, the pressure is on for the A4 side to come home with two wins.

Chris Reilly, Gary Brown, Alan Holmquest and Mark Brack won 22-14.
Tony Coughlin, Keith Mills, Hayden Brockley and Brenton Ketchell lost 12-36.
Lynne Ewison, Lex Thornton, Anne Summerill and Raz Porter won 22-15.
The B2 side travelled to Corowa Civic and lost by 29 shots, moving them down to 4th spot on the ladder. With only 3 points separating 3rd, 4th and 5th, the B2 side must win their remaining matches to secure their place in the top four.

Jenny Lawrence, Archie Bedford, Tony Fierenzi and Jeff Nixon lost 15-24.

The B3 side also travelled to Corowa Civic and lost narrowly, by 3 shots. They are now in 8th place on the ladder.
