The Ovens and Murray Football League under-18 representative team showcased their dominance over the Goulburn Valley League, securing an impressive 59-point victory in a thrilling interleague clash held at Albury Sports Ground on Saturday.
Among the talented squad were four former Corowa Rutherglen Football Netball Club under 18 players, Riley Allen, Justin Lewis, Finn Osborne (captain), and Patrick Lavis, who played pivotal roles in their team's triumph.
The O&M under-18 side delivered an outstanding performance, led by their resilient second quarter and a commanding third term that saw them emerge victorious with a final score of 13.11 (89) to 4.6 (30). The comprehensive win showcased the team's skill, teamwork, and determination to secure interleague bragging rights.
Corowa Rutherglen Football Netball Club congratulated the achievements of the four former under 18 players who played a crucial role in the O&M team's success, and for their dedication and perseverance on their football journey.
