The men’s rugby league contest saw the Cougars continue their winning start to the season with a commanding 28-10 triumph over Shepparton Eagles, despite being without their regular captain Brenden Johnson who suffered a shoulder dislocation in Round 1.

Women's League Tag Team
The Corowa women's league tag side showed signs of progress but ultimately fell 20-12 to Shepparton Eagles at Eldorado Centennial Park Reserve.
In a competitive match, the Cougars scored two tries through Sophie Lee and Leesa Hawking, with Skye Rodgers converting on both occasions.
After a challenging first half, the Cougars produced a much-improved second-half performance characterised by resolute defence and more structured attack.
The team showed significantly better depth and shape in their offensive plays, creating more opportunities as the match progressed.
