Finley defeated Cobram 1, 3-2.
Four groups were already in the clubhouse and it was a draw on two matches each.
It was up to Ian Armer and Peter Wood to win the last match, and they did it in style by playing an extra hole to bring the win to Finley.
A big thank you to the Tocumwal Golf Club for allowing the pennant players to be moved through a number of green fee players and clearing the 19th hole to allow the game to continue.
Cobram 2 defeated Deniliquin, 3-2.
In another tight match, Deniliquin had a chance to win but had two groups tied up on the 18th hole.
They had to play extra holes to get a result.
One group went to the 19th, and the other group went to the 20th.
Overall it was an exciting final for the four teams, who were competing to play in the grand final.
Finley will play Deniliquin at Cobram in the next round to see who will have a crack at the grand final against Cobram 2.
