Grand final players from all four local clubs, Yarrawonga, Mulwala, Tungamah and Rennie will be in the parade which gets underway at 1.00pm.
Tungamah fourths and seconds were football premiers, and Rennie Under 17s netball team beat Tungamah to win the premiership.
Mulwala’s seconds, thirds and fourths are in the football grand finals, and Under 15 netballers as well this Saturday at Moama.
Yarrawonga’s senior football and netball teams will play at Lavington this Sunday. The two Yarrawonga teams earned the right for a week’s rest after advancing to the grand final day following wins the weekend before last.
Master of Ceremonies for the street parade will be past Pigeons’ president Andrew Mott.
Yarrawonga Football Netball Club President Ross Mulquiney said the idea behind the street parade is a community day where the public to show its support of the players and clubs.
“I congratulate all the players who made the grand finals or who will play in this weekend, and wish them all the best,” he said.
“We’re hoping the time can suit school children to witness the parade.
“I take this opportunity of thanking all the wonderful volunteers at the four clubs.”
