Over the last two weeks there have been great numbers playing golf.

On Friday, December 22 the winner was Chris Kelly (40-7.5-32.5), and runner-up was John Walker (47-13-34).
Doug Cameron won the putting with 14 putts, and ball winners were Steve Senini (47-12.5-34.5) and Doug Cameron (43-7-36).
On Saturday, December 23 the winner was John Walker (46-12.5-33.5), and runner-up was George from Melbourne (53-17-36).
Jeff Stein won the putting with 12 putts, and ball winner was Joe Nicholls (47-10.5-36.5).
Christmas Eve was a stableford competition, and the winner was Joe Nicholls with 40 points.
Runner-up was Michael Curtin with 38 points, and ball winners were Neil Graham on 35 points and Lachlan Whelan with 34 points.
When golf resumed on Friday, December 29 the winner was Chris Cameron (38-2.5-35.5), and runner-up was Ted Walliss (45-9-36).
Chris also won the putting with 13 putts, and ball winner was Toby Dalgleish (43-7-36).
Saturday’s winner was Allan Arnold (46-9-37), and runner-up was Joe Karakai (46-8.5-37.5).
Joe also won the putting with 13 putts, and ball winners were Judy Karakai (54-15-38.5) and Lachlan Whelan (46-7-39).
Sunday’s winner was Lachlan Whelan (84-14-70), with Doug Cameron the runner-up (89-14-75).
The putting was also won by Lachlan, with 25, and ball winner was Matt Whelan (79-4-75).
This Sunday will be stableford, with tee off time at 9.30am.
Finley
Junior golfer Jackson Pyle showed the way when a good field played stableford medley on Wednesday, December 20.
Jackson, with 41 points, came out as the winner of Division Two.
Paul Pinnuck, on 38 points, was the winner of Division One.
NTP on the 13th was Jackson Pyle, on the 18th Rob Singleton and Billy’s Ball on the 6th went to Marty Piggin.
Ball competition winners were Alan Hand 36, Steve McRae 34, Brett Shaw 34, Colin McNamara 34 and Rand Wilson who had 33 stableford points.
There was only a small turn out for the Nine Hole Competition on Thursday, December 21.
Bo Makkinga, with 19 stableford points, came home the winner.
Jacob Smith had 17 points to be the winner in the Ball Competition
It may have been because of the heat, but nobody turned up for the Meat Tray Event on Friday, December 22.
Stableford medley was played on Saturday, December 23.
Matt Wilson, on 40 points, claimed Division One, and Jacob Smith also had 40 to win Division Two.
NTP on the 18th was Patrick Keane (Deniliquin).
Ball competition winners were Tony Smith 39, Brendan Heath 38, Annie Wood 37, Rick Harris 36, Sharon Pyle 36, Linda Rendell 36 and Andrew Tregeagle who finished with 35 stableford points.
With one more sleep to go until the big day. there was only a small turnout when stroke medley was played on Christmas Eve.
Sue Simpson claimed the day with a winning score of 70 net.
NTP on the 18th was Leo McNamara.
Ball competition winners were Bo Makkinga 71 and Leo McNamara who carded 72 net.
The scheduled Boxing Day competition was abandoned with the course being closed after two days of rain.
A good field played stableford medley the following day.
Ian Litchfield, with 40 points, came out as the winner of Division One with junior golfer Cooper Sutton the winner of Division Two with 36 points.
NTP on the 13th was Helen Wastle, and on the 18th Rodger Sutton.
Ball competition winners were Jithu 36, Gary McNamara (Murrumbidgee) 35, Rodger Sutton 35, Rand Wilson 35, Paul Beaver 34, Sam Hurlston 34, and Leo McNamara who also had 34 stableford points.
There was a bigger field for the Thursday Nine Hole Competition than a week earlier.
Colin McNamara, with 21 stableford points, came home the winner.
Leo McNamara on 20 and Mary Polkinghorne on 17 were winners in the ball competition.
A full field played stroke medley on Saturday.
Robert Singleton claimed Division One with 73 net, while Cooper Sutton took Division Two on 68 net.
NTP on the 13th was Gary McNamara (Murrumbidgee) and on the 18th it was Alan Hand.
Ball competition winners were Gary McNamara 73, Simon Fuller 74, Ryan Donkin 74, Doug Smith 75, Colin McNamara 75, Leo McNamara 75, Rodger Sutton 76, and Sue Simpson who also who carded 76 net.
To finish the 2023 year, a good field turned out when stableford medley was played on Sunday.
Robert Singleton made it two in a row when he took out Division One with 38 points, whilst Rick Shaw claimed Division Two with 41.
NTP on the 13th was Linda Rendell and, on the 18th, it was Janet Delmenico.
Ball competition winners were Jacob Smith 39, Gary McNamara (Murrumbidgee) 39, Stuart Lewis 37, Ryan Donkin 37, Cooper Sutton 37, Grant Wilson 36, Lindsay Donkin 36, and Sue Simpson who also carded 36 stableford points.
Only a small field played stableford medley on Monday.
Michael McRae was the winner with 41.

Ball competition winners were Cooper Sutton 36, Paul Pinnuck 35 and Sue Simpson who finished 34 stableford points.
