Jarryd Hatton will resume his football career at Rutherglen for season 2024 and build on his 209 games with the Cats.
After playing Ovens and Murray football with Corowa Rutherglen in 2022 and Yarrawonga this year, Hatton will join his brother Braeden (Buddha) who has 236 games with Rutherglen.
“We are rapt to have the brothers playing with us again. They will be assets on and off the field,” Rutherglen Football Netball Club President Greg Lumby said.
Jarryd is currently captaining Corowa’s senior cricket side who bowled over reigning premiers Lavington last Saturday.
He won’t be short on fitness when the football season starts in 2024. The dynamic opening bowler moves quickly into bowl off a fair run-up.
