The annual Deniliquin High School Swimming Carnival was held on Wednesday, February 18.

The weather was perfect, there was plenty of fun and spirited competition had.
Swimmers from Nyrangi, Kyalite, Colligen, and Edward dived in to support their house and achieve their personal best.
All participants are to be commended for their enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
The Age Champions for the day were listed as follows:
12 Years Girls - Bella Leetham.
13 Years Boys - Ollie Dellwo.
13 Years Girls - Lexi Maher.
14 Years Boys - Jonathon Moorse.
14 Years Girls - Stella Chadderton.
15 Years Boys - Enzo Sztejman.
15 Years Girls - Olivia Jeffery.
16 Years Boys - Lucas Thompson.
16 Years Girls - Elka Connolly.
17 Years Boys - Hamish Baker.
17 Years Girls - Annabelle Hanns.
The three fastest girls of the carnival were Annabel Hanns, Isla Andrews, and Elka Connolly, while the fastest boys were Lachlan Jeffery, Jono Moorse, and Lucas Thompson.
Nyrangi ended up taking out the carnival, with an impressive 458 points.
The school thanked all staff, students, and community members involved in making this swimming carnival a day a huge success.
