Bradtke recently told the Free Press he hoped to play at a higher level, having recently slotted in for the Swans VFL side twice this year against Sandringam and North Melbourne.
It’s been a great year for the 20-year-old, with two games at VFL level enuogh to pique interest in the state combine.
The state combine lists are selected via club interest levels, with players requiring a nomination from at least two AFL clubs to be invited.
Possessing great speed and agility, Bradtke is held in high regard at Rooland. In an interview with The Free Press, renowned coach and 185-gamer with North Melbourne Peter German singled Bradtke out for special mention.
“KB is in the top five athletes I’ve coached in 30 years,” German said. “He’s a unique specimen of an athlete, a quality tall.”
A total of 66 players have been invited to test in front of recruiters across the Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth state-based NAB AFL Draft Combine
The Melbourne state Draft Combine will be held on Sunday, October 9, and will feature players from Victoria, Tasmania, Northern Territory, Queensland, New South Wales and the ACT.
