There were a stack of gem storylines uncovered in 2025, from Rushworth’s resurgence on both fronts to a heartstopping senior football grand final that went right down to the wire.
Murchison-Toolamba went back to back.
Shepparton East reclaimed its throne.
But in 2026, new narratives must be formed.
Violet Town and Lancaster shape as threats to the Hoppers’ crown, while the Eagles’ netball rivalry with Girgarre and fellow challengers is set to provide the spark.
The KDL is back - make sure you’re there to see it all unfold.
