Lockington Ladies Bowling Club held its annual invitation fours tournament on Wednesday, November 16, which was supported by Campaspe Shire Council.

In freezing conditions, the following clubs — Tongala, Kyabram, Rochester, Rich River, Elmore, Mathoura, Moama, Echuca and Lockington — braved the elements to take part.
Tournament secretary Lorraine Appleby introduced vice-president Marg Dowie, who was standing in for president Denise Gilmore, who was unable to attend due to illness.
She apologised for the Campaspe Shire Council who was unable to attend and acknowledged its continued support for the event over the past four years. She welcomed everyone and thanked them for supporting the club.
Results: Roll to the spider: Judy Vise (Rich River); Roll to the ditch: Chris Simson (Rich River).
Winner was Kyabram with 75 points, represented by Mary Greco (s), Jill Barrett, Jan MacFadyen, Dossie Grills.
Runner-up was Elmore: 66 points — Anne Williams (s) Lorna Wilson, Evelyn Locke, Anna Antoniazzi — on a countback from Moama on 65 points — Karen Brennan (s) Liz Duidge, Sue Holms, Di O’Bryan.
