Rutherglen Golf Club has inducted Pat Cooper as a Life Member at their monthly dinner on Friday, May 27.

Pat was joined by her family, some of her “old playing buddies” and current Rutherglen Golf Club members and friends.
Pat started playing in 1976, and in 1981 and 1982 she went straight to the top as Lady President.
For 40 years she served on both the Ladies Main Committee, Ladies Match Committee and has been a North East Delegate on many occasions.
Pat is currently on the Ladies Match Committee and has been the club’s ladies’ handicapper for well over 35 years continuously. This is an incredible commitment, every week for over 35 years.

In 1983, along with Joan Hall, Pat started the Hall and Cooper 4BBB Match Play. It took Pat 23 years to win her own trophy.
