Round four against Mulwala was going to be a fierce encounter.
It proved a thrilling game with lots of action, multiple lead changes and impressive performances.
Rams were able to settle first and get on top to win 60 to 50.
Eloise Ritchie dominated defensively with multiple intercepts, turnovers and rebounds before transitioning into attack and providing drive through the midcourt.
Rhiannan Maxwell showed her superiority and strength under the goals with accurate shooting and was a pivotal focus for the midcourt feeds.
Steph Birk settled the midcourt and provided intensity and control, leading to many turnovers.
Her feeds to the shooters were precise, and support to the defensive end was relentless.

B-grade: Deni Rams 50 def Mulwala 39.
In a thrilling match at Ramland, the Deni Rams triumphed over Mulwala.
Elle Panton, Bec Biggs, and Alana Tyndall stood out and earned recognition for their outstanding performances.
The game started evenly, with both teams tied nine points each after the first break.
However, the Rams seized control, steadily increasing their lead each quarter.
Elle Panton showcased her defensive prowess and strategic reading of the game, intercepting Mulwala’s passes and even contributing with goal assists from the transverse line.
Bec Bigg’s combination with shooters Amber Farley and Leah Blake in the circle ensured precise feeding and accurate shooting throughout the game, contributing significantly to the Rams’ victory.
Meanwhile, Alana Tyndall’s performance was highlighted by her remarkable reach, agility, and effective communication in the defence end.
Her seamless transitions and timely resets were crucial to the team’s success.

C-grade: Deni Rams 43 def Mulwala 37.
The game was truly inspiring.
Despite being a young team with new dynamics, they demonstrate a remarkable commitment to learning and playing for one another.
It’s amazing to see them achieving all that they are capable of.
The connections on the court are starting to form, which is a beautiful thing to witness.
Katie Arandt was simply outstanding this week. Her ability to move and change angles to get on the ball was a true highlight.
Katie and Lucy Pitt formed a new defensive duo that was truly formidable.
Lucy was able to react to Katie’s movements and direction, and together, they made an incredible pair.
Felicity Jefferies was also an integral part of our defensive combination.
Her ability to switch from a defender to an attacker is a blessing, and she was able to control the rhythm of the ball moving from defence into attack.
All in all, it was an inspiring match that left us with a sense of pride and joy for what this team can achieve.

The team’s hard work and consistent effort are paying off, and we can already see improvements.
Keely Hussey played a remarkable game, implementing our defensive strategies flawlessly and taking multiple intercepts.
Julia Druitt was back in her commanding centre position, providing excellent support across the court and linking up with the team to carry the ball from defence to attack.
Lauren Ryan also had a fantastic game, taking on a new role within the team and already reaping the benefits.

Under-17s: Deni Rams 56 def Mulwala 34.
It’s always great to come back stronger after a break, and Saturday’s game was nothing short of inspiring.
Our team faced a strong opponent in Mulwala, but we knew a four-quarter effort would be enough to beat them.
And that’s exactly what we did - we gave it our all and achieved a well-deserved win.
Our game was marked by smooth transitions, control, and a consistent tempo that kept us in the lead.
Ava Robinson shone with her accuracy and effortless movement, while Sophie Tilders’ impeccable timing in the goal circle was a game-changer.
And let’s not forget Emma Parks, who’s been having an incredible season in defence, taking intercepts with ease and moving cleanly with the ball.
This is what great teamwork looks like - let’s keep it up.

Under-15s: Deni Rams 24 def by Mulwala 26.
Round four was extremely competitive against another top team.
The four quarters were a fast-paced game with lots of action.
The Rams showed amazing sportsmanship and camaraderie, showcasing a very skilled and versatile team.
The play was controlled and precise from end-to-end.
They battled out the game goal-for-goal and were pipped at the post in the last minutes, going down by two.
As a team, this was an overall fantastic hit out and we can’t wait to face Mulwala again.
Awards went to Phoebe Newman for her stellar performance in goals and mentoring to her teammates.
Ava Marshall, who dominated in defence with multiple turnovers, created many extra opportunities for our attackers.
Brydey Maher for sticking like glue to her opponent and her 120 per cent effort at every ball.

Under-13s: Deni Rams 17 def by Mulwala 30.
A strong start saw the girls take a small lead into quarter time.
Mulwala fought back hard in the second quarter, where they continued to gain momentum.
Lexi Butcher gave her absolute all, giving 100 per cent on the court in both attacking and defensive roles.
Sophie Pearn stuck to her opponent like glue, putting into practice some key plays that have been a focus at training.
Arielle Hillier excelled under pressure, maintaining her composure to be a reliable option for her teammates.
The final score didn’t go the Rams’ way, but we have plenty of positives to take into next week.

Under-11s: Not scored.
The under-11 girls played an excellent game against Mulwala.
Julia Smith got some great grabs and intercepts as did Stevie Williams.
Aysha Bartlett was dominant in defence and kept the Mulwala attack players on their toes.
Stella Butcher was amazing in goals and shot effortlessly and as a result was awarded the Players’ Player award.
Another great game for the girls whose netball improves more and more each week.
