Hollie Reid is the A-grade best-and-fairest for 2026, winning by nine votes from Moama’s Eesha Clarke.
Reid was also named in the team of the year.
Three Blues took out netball gongs, with Tamara Cummins a joint winner in C-grade and Mikaela Pyke winning by a vote in C-reserve.
A further three athletes finished as runners-up across both codes.
After reaching the semi-finals in senior football, Blues Riley Smith, Jack Hammond, and Jack Monigatti were named in the team of the year.
Meanwhile, Tongala was also awarded administration of the year.
“It was a great night,” Blues president Daniel Cox said.
“It was very successful obviously for the senior side of things, and Isla White coming runner up in the 17s and administration of the year, which is always nice to get.
“It’s going to be good, and with five sides heading into the weekend, it’s going to be a big weekend hopefully with some good results.”
Tongala’s netball program has been dominating the league for several seasons, defending back-to-back crowns in B-grade, C-grade and C-reserve on Saturday, but the year was also a promising one for the club’s footballers, the senior side returning to finals this year.
“For the senior side it was always going to be a building year, getting (coach) Jordan (Souter) back, and we exceeded expectations with a couple of extra recruits that sort of weren’t on the radar originally.
“Realistically we finished sixth in the home-and-away season and knocked out Mulwala, so it was good.
“Probably exceeded our expectations a little bit and we’ll look to build on that for next year.”
