Corowa Rutherglen Football Netball Club is preparing for a big 2022 season with pre-season training now under at John Foord Oval as the club looks forward to the 2022 season.

It is training for the footballers this week with the netballers commencing training next week.
The footballers will have two team training sessions plus three other training sessions focused on skills, conditioning, and weights each week.
The playing group have also been working individually under the guidance of Forge Performance Coaching using strength and conditioning programs to ensure that they are as best prepared as possible for the season ahead.
The senior netballers preseason and trials start next Tuesday, January 18 at 6.00pm. Interested players should register their interest on the CRFNC Facebook page.
‘The Roos are looking forward to the 2022 season. We believe that the club has put some strategies in place that will give us the opportunity to take the next step in the O and M,” Club President Stuart Lingham said.
“We have added a number of key players to last year’s list, with minimal departures. We have appointed a part time Club Operations Manager to drive our membership and sponsorship base.
“The grant to build female change rooms has put a spring in the step of our netballers. There is a positive feeling around the club as we approach the upcoming season.”
Australia Day Federation Festival
CRFNC will be participating in Corowa’s Australia Day parade on Sunday, January 23. The club will have a float kindly provided by one of our platinum sponsors Francis Transport. Look out for details as the day gets closer.

2022 Season Opener
The Roos first game of the season will be under lights against Lavington on Saturday, April 2 at Lavington Sportsground starting at 6.00pm.
