A wet winter day for netball on Saturday against the Saints.

The crowd was low but spirits were high with some early games to allow for the Roos ladies day.
The Roos girls came away with two strong wins. A Grade are back on top of the O&M ladder and B grade a siting well in top 5.
Four rounds left. The Roos will be heading to Bulldogs this Saturday.
A Grade
Corowa Rutherglen 55 defeated Myrtleford 31
A grade was back on the winners list following the bye last weekend.
The A Grade team is adjusting to losing legend centre Gabe McRae. Middies adapted well to the positional changes.
Soph and Larry were reliable as ever in defence winning as much ball as possible. Player's player and Club 1 award went to Leah Keating who blitzed it in WD. Thrive/coach's award when to Tamir Richardson who adapted really well to the C position.
Canteen and opposition MVP went to Leaping Larry in GK. Long arms for the win.

B Grade
Corowa Rutherglen 43 defeated Myrtleford 31
Another good game by Corowa B grade setting themselves up for a great start in the first quarter scoring 14 goals to Myrtleford’s 7.
Wet weather netball slowed the game down but didn’t stop Courtney Haigh from picking up a lot of the ball in Myrtleford’s shooting circle.
Lauren McInnes was a standout in WD setting up some great attacking transitions out of defence and connecting well with the attack.
Whilst Kelsea ran relentlessly in C accurately feeding Lisa French who netted 34 goals for the day.
A really good team effort and another crucial four points.

C Grade
Corowa Rutherglen 38 defeated by Myrtleford 44
Last time C grade meet the ladder leaders in C grade, the Saints defeated Roos by 22 goals. The team has progressed a lot since round 5.
A strong Saints team saw the girls having to step up their game and they did that. Pushing their opponents the whole game. Going down by 6 goals.
Chloe Gilchrist was a great asset on the court playing in multiple positions she brought maturity and depth to the teams game.
Sophie Kennedy played a great game in GA. Working well with Eloise and Chloe, her most accurate game in goals this season with 79%.
Bree Forrest coming up from 17s was strong in WD playing against a much older season player.

Under 17s
Corowa Rutherglen 30 defeated by Myrtleford 45
Girls worked tirelessly played strong quarters in first and last but Saints ran away with game in 2 and third. C
Awards: Club 1 - Keeley Symonds played a solid game in the mid court both WD and centre.
Corowa Choc factory - Sienna Sampson shot very well in last half of game.

Under 15s
Corowa Rutherglen 20 defeated by Myrtleford 56
Unfortunately, it wasn’t the Roos day as they went down to Myrtleford.
The team struggled to adjust to the wet surface and didn’t quite bring their usual intensity after a week off.
Despite the result, the 15s know there’s plenty more in the tank and they’re already focused on bouncing back next week.
Awards: Best on Court DOCs award – Maci Coats - tanned and tenacious defender, who was a brick wall in defence. She racked up intercept after intercept and made life tough for Myrt's attackers all game.
Sportspower Award – Maddi Ryan - Fearless captain led from the front once again. Her leadership, drive and positivity on the court kept the team going and set the standard even in tough conditions.
Canteen Award – Katie Ford - continues to level up every week. Her defensive pressure was electric, and she brought great composure to the attacking play. The team energy is always better with the hype gal on court.
