Wodonga 40 defeated by Roos 67
It was a physical fast paced game from the first whistle. Indi and Tamir balanced out the attack end to feed the goalers. Sal and Lou worked well in the goal circle to get good positioning under the ring. The defence end applied tight defence to capitalise on Wodonga’s turnovers.
Awards: Sal Hunter (Club 1 & MVP), Soph Hanrahan (Thrive Wellness), Indi Frauenfelder & Em Laracy (Ladies Committee) and Lou Madden (MVP).

Wodonga 46 defeated by Roos 48
Going into this game the club knew it would be a tough one for B Grade. It certainly played out that way with a very physical contest from start to finish.
Very proud of the determination from each player to grind out a tough last quarter where Bulldogs threw everything at the Roos.
B Grade’s finals spot is now locked in and the team is really focused on continuing to build for September.
Awards: Kelsea Bullivant (Club 1), Lauren McInnes (Health Hub), Lisa French (Ladies Committee) and Courtney Haigh (MVP).

Despite having only seven available players this week, the girls worked hard and pulled together brilliantly, with valuable support from the Under 17s squad.
The game got off to a slow start, taking a few centres for the team to settle.
However, strong defensive efforts early on led to crucial turnovers and scoring opportunities.
In the second quarter, the girls produced some impressive passages of play, though maintaining consistent defensive pressure and goal conversion remained a challenge.
The third quarter marked a noticeable lift in work rate and goal conversion, showing what the team is capable of when in full stride.
Unfortunately, they couldn’t sustain that momentum into the final term.
The Under 17s players made a huge impact — Alex was solid under the post, while Rahni and Bree held their own and supported well through the centre court. Nellie stepped up confidently in centre, growing into the role as the game progressed.
In defence, we had a new line-up with Charlotte returning from placement and combining effectively with Niamh. Issy made a strong impression stepping into wing defence, applying pressure and consistently getting hands over the ball.
Awards: Chelsea Parker (Club 1) – for her strong drives and smart passing into the shooters.
Sophie Kennedy (Essential Beauty) – for her calm leadership on court and great synergy with Alex and Chloe.
Chloe Gilchrist (Canteen) - who played across multiple positions and demonstrated her speed, leap, and all-round versatility.
Alex Gniel (MVP).

The first three quarters of the game there was only a goal in it. The fourth quarter the girls worked hard in defence, chased up every lose ball and stuck to their game plan to secure the win – well done girls!
