B Grade
B Grade’s Eloise Black has determination-plus in grabbing a teammate’s pass.
B Grade had a tight hustle this week, battling through the game but falling short for the win in the end. A second quarter slump was what let us down, with a competitive three quarters of netball showcasing some smooth, well timed and slick play of the ball.
Courtney Haigh (Club 1) adapted to the change up in Tigers attack end, covering a tall standing shooter and then a dynamic shorter attack line, finding tips, intercepts and rebounds consistently across the game.
Jade Lane (Origin) had her work cut out for her against a body strong WA. She forced her attacker to work extremely hard for every ball and got many touches to the ball with her long reach over the ball.
Eloise Black (Canteen and MVP) worked tirelessly to combat the strong bodied defence line she came up against, creating space and adjusting her holds to find angles to provide a solid target and outlet for the feeders.

C Grade
Maddi Simmonds shoots for goal in C Grade.
C Grade had a different look with three of our under 17s stepping up and fitting in smoothly. We played against the top of the table, knowing we wouldn’t be given opportunities by Albury.
Our aim was to focus on the basics, but unfortunately, our low communication on court allowed for Albury to remain confident and work as a unit and gain momentum.
We have come away from this game identifying our areas for development and areas of strength and look forward to working on these at training to improve on for our next game.

U17s
Under 17 player up in C Grade Alex Gniel tried desperately to stop this pass to an Albury player.
The girls showed a lot of determination and teamwork on Saturday against a much improved Albury side. Whilst there were some fantastic plays in the first half we found ourselves down by nine going into the second half.
The girls worked together building pressure, creating and converting on their turnovers which saw them win by one goal in the end. Very proud of the whole team and their ability to hold their nerve.
Awards: Club 1 - Nellie Linden - fantastic game in defence, driving the ball out with confidence - Corowa Chocolate Factory - Alex Gniel- shot well under pressure - Canteen - Keeley Symonds worked hard in WA cutting and driving around her player. MVP- Audrey Hogan.

U15s
15s this week showed up for a cold morning of netball that was soggy underfoot.
The game's slow pace and difficult, changing direction was tough and we did’nt adjust enough to make the most of the conditions.
Awards: Maiya Lea (Club 1) getting all sorts of tips and keeping energy high - Maddison Ryan (Sportspower and MVP) chasing down numerous loose balls and putting everything out there to gain possession - Maci Coats (canteen) hustled in defence all day, adapting to positional changes and making an effort to contest and recover to contest again.
