A Grade
Roos 55 defeated Albury 29
A convincing win by the A grade girls after having two losses in a row. It was great to see Gabe back on the court running the centre position.
The girls attacked strongly and applied the defensive pressure from the first whistle and they kept up the momentum for the entire game.
Awards: Soph Hanrahan (Club 1 & MVP), Leah Keating (Thrive Wellness) and Lou Madden (Ladies Committee).
B Grade
Roos 66 defeated Albury 38
A strong and focused first half from B grade laid the foundation for a dominant team performance, allowing team to pull away early and maintain control throughout the match. The players executed the game plan effectively, targeting key areas to build a commanding lead — a result that could prove valuable as we head towards the end of the season.
Sophie Arnold was a standout in the goal circle, applying consistent pressure and creating opportunities that set Lisa up for an outstanding shooting performance.
Lisa finished the game with an impressive 82 per cent accuracy, netting 50 goals.
In the centre, Kelsea Bullivant delivered a brilliant all-round performance.
Her impact was felt on both ends of the court, particularly with several key intercepts that turned defence into attack and kept the momentum firmly in the Roos favour.

C Grade
Roos 78 defeated Albury 37.
The C Grade team delivered a dominant performance this week, securing a convincing 78–37 win.
Although the girls started a little slow in the first quarter, they still managed to take the lead early and continued to build momentum throughout the match.
Strong driving through the mid-court created numerous opportunities in the goal circle. Eloise, Sophie, and Chloe combined effectively, shooting with great accuracy.
Eloise was especially dominant, scoring 57 goals at an impressive 82 per cent accuracy.
Defensively, Niamh and Brooke worked hard in the ring to consistently turn the ball over. Issy stepped up her pressure in wing defence and played a key role in assisting the defensive team to force some great turnovers.
Zoe Prentice also provided valuable support across a few quarters, and thanks to Rahni who once again stepped up from the 17s and played her role seamlessly.
Chloe had another fantastic game on the wing, showing continued improvement and strong on-court leadership. Nelly Linden stepped confidently into a new role at centre and did a fantastic job.

17 and Under
Roos 38 defeated by Albury 40
It was a tough contest for the 17 and Under side, who had a slow start in the first quarter, finding themselves trailing by 12 goals early in the match.
Despite the early setback, the team showed incredible resilience and determination, clawing their way back to level the score midway through the final quarter.
A standout feature of the game was the team's relentless defensive pressure, which created numerous turnovers and kept Albury under constant pressure.
The comeback effort highlighted the team’s grit, but unfortunately, fatigue set in during the final five minutes, allowing Albury to edge ahead and seal the win.
The team should be proud of their fighting spirit and strong defensive game – lots to build on for the next round.

15 and Under
Roos 41 defeated Albury 40
What an absolute nail-biter. From the first whistle to the final siren, it was goal for goal – a true edge-of-your-seat contest.
The girls showed incredible teamwork, grit, and determination to dig deep and come away with a thrilling one-goal victory.
Club 1 was awarded to the unstoppable Kaity Ford, who was electric in defence. Her intensity and timing were unmatched, making life difficult for the opposition every step of the way.
Club 2 went to the ever-reliable Lilyana, who stood strong in defence and consistently provided powerful drive through the midcourt. Her calm presence and smart play were crucial.
Finally, the Canteen Award went to Millie, who lit up the scoreboard with her shooting from all over the circle. Her composure under pressure and ability to nail the big moments were outstanding.
Well done, girls – a fantastic team performance and a well-deserved win.
