Tungamah kicked with the aid of the breeze in the first quarter and made every post a winner kicking 8.1 to Rovers 2.3.
Tungamah were very efficient going forward and scored on most occasions when the ball went into their forward line.
The second quarter was much better with Rovers attacking incessantly to add 5.7 for the quarter.
The scoreboard could have looked much better if the accuracy in front of goal was better.
As it was, the large margin at quarter time had been reduced to 10 points at the long break.
Tungamah dominated play in the third quarter, although some determined defence restricted the damage and it was Tungamah's turn to kick points rather than goals.
The last quarter was reasonably even with a two goal to three scoreline, but the final scoreline showed a comfortable 44 point victory to Tungamah.
The last two weeks have been a real learning process, and the team really need to bounce back this week when they travel to Mathoura.
