Toc fall short to steady bowling and pressure

Not long after drinks, a change in pace brought a couple of quick wickets and the run rate steadied.

Jacob Bartlett (66) kept the runs ticking as wickets began to fall around him.

Tom White (3/29 from nine overs) and Sam Bennett (3/41 from six overs) also contributed well for The Bloods, but Katunga finished with a well-made 8/270.

With the challenge set, Katunga again started well and were able to apply pressure with the ball.

Through the middle overs, Tocumwal was able to steady with Ranji Oliver (22) and Bryce Meloury (65), which set up the team to bat through the overs.

Toc finished with 7/167 at the end of play.

Jacob Bartlett (1/28), Hugh Duncan (2/20) and Hamish McGregor (2/8) were the pick of the bowlers.

It was a well fought out game by Tocumwal, after a great start from Katunga.
