Fran Pagdin

The Acting NT Health Chief Executive, Jo Norton and staff would like to extend their sincere condolences to her son David, and the family and friends of Fran Pagdin.

Fran had a spectacular career with NT Health for many years, and finished as the Director of Alcohol and Drug Services. Over the years she forged a legacy amongst Mental Health teams across the Territory in both Alice Springs and Darwin.

Fran has been described as a gregarious character with a sharp and informed mind; tough when she needed to be, but always thoughtful and kind. She was dedicated to improving clinical service provision to individuals affected by severe mental illness.

Fran’s lifelong dedication to mental health services is to be commended, and by all accounts she was very influential and respected by her colleagues. She will be missed enormously.
