Died peacefully in the arms of his family at home on Sunday 14th September 2025.
Beloved son of Archie and Labeebee Basheer (both deceased) and loved brother and brother-in-law of Selwa, Najla, Linda, Sam and Fred, and their spouses Allan, Jim, Bushra (all deceased) and Nadia.
Devoted husband of Elaine Christobel Basheer (deceased).
Adored father of Ann and Jayne.
Loving grandfather of Georgie and Sophie, and loved father-in-law of Bill (deceased).
The memory of Max and the joy he brought to so many is imprinted on our hearts forever.
The family extends a heartfelt thanks to Doctor Peter Hurley, and the nursing and care team led by Samir Patel (Sam) for their skill, dedication, and exceptional kindness to Max.
