COOK, Mary

Much loved Wife of Wally Cook (dec), Cherished Mother and Mother-in-law of Kerrianne and Paul Vico, adored Grandmother to Jarred and Rachel Manning and Karli Manning, and wonderful GG to Hudson and Louie. Loving Step Grandmother to Paula Vico, Natalee Paron, Cassandra Irvine, Lauren Vico and their families. Beloved Sister-in-law and Aunt. Mary lived to a wonderful age of 91, enjoying a fulfilling, happy and healthy life. She loved being with her family, playing Mahjong with cherished friends and was devoted to her Cairns West Ladies Probus Club, where she made beautiful friendships and was a Life Member. Mary resided independently at Heritage Gardens Lifestyle Village at Earlville. She lived with people she loved, respected, and enjoyed the friendship and many conversations and functions they all had together. The Management and Residents at Heritage Gardens contributed greatly to Mary’s happy life. Mary was keen for any activity, outing, luncheon and anything to do with family. Always dressing beautifully with nails and hair perfect, we all marvelled at how incredible she was for her age. She will be greatly missed and leaves a big space in our families’ lives

After a short illness, Mary went to sleep to be with Wal again and will be privately cremated as per her wishes.
