Died 12th May 2026 Brighton, Melbourne. Cremation 19th May.
Daughter of John Septimus Crotty [dec.] and Margaret Ellen Jacobs [dec.]. Sister of June Crotty [dec.].
Marjorie was a Primary School Teacher, Speech Therapist, Bachelor of Arts, Assistant Principal at Footscray (Hyde Street) and Beaumaris Primary Schools, Principal at South Caulfield and Elwood Primary Schools. An energetic and dedicated educator, Marjorie was greatly appreciated by colleagues and the communities.
‘A meritorious career’ a description on retirement by Joan Kirner 1990, as Minister of Education.
Marjorie enjoyed golf, gardening, travel, the Arts and had a great love of animals, especially dogs. A generous benefactor in her life.
A kind, caring and appreciative friend, fondly remembered.
