DUTHIE, Alexander 'Alec'

Passed away peacefully at
the Royal Adelaide Hospital on 4 July 2026,

Aged 99 years.

Loving husband of Joyce (deceased).

Loving father of John.

Much loved Grandpa of Jasmine and Ben
and warmly embraced as family by Bailey and Nikki.

A much-loved member of his extended family,
and a friend to many.

Known for his love of harness horse racing,
his stories, and his larger-than-life character.

He will be sadly missed by his friends, neighbours,
the Marden Shopping Centre community, and the
complaints departments of many organisations.

His final weeks were spent surrounded by family.
He was relaxed, smiling, talking as best he could,
and wore one of his biggest smiles after
Port Adelaide defeated Adelaide in the Showdown.

A life well lived.
